What personal data we collect
We collect personal data only where you choose to give it to us. Through our Site, this happens in two ways:
1. When you submit a form (Request a Demo, Contact Us, Partnership Enquiry, Media & Analyst Enquiry, or a resource download), we collect:
- Name
- Company name
- Business email address
- Job title
- Country
- The nature of your enquiry
- Any message you include
2. Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy), including:
- Pages visited and time spent on the Site
- General location (country/region level)
- Referring website or search terms
- Device and browser type
We do not collect financial information, special category data, or any information beyond what’s listed above through this Site.
How we use your data
We use the personal data you provide to:
- Respond to your enquiry or arrange a demo
- Understand which organisations and roles are engaging with Quantum Sentinel, so we can improve our platform and content
- Send you information you’ve requested (whitepapers, follow-up on a demo request)
- Where you’ve agreed to it, send occasional updates about Enterprise Cryptographic Exposure Management, product developments, or events
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Our legal basis for processing
- Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries, understanding how our Site is used, and improving our platform and content.
- Consent — for marketing communications, which you opt into separately via a checkbox on our forms, and for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract — where processing is necessary to take steps towards a contract with your organisation (for example, arranging and delivering a demo you’ve requested).
Data sharing and hosting
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own use or marketing purposes.
The data you provide through this Site is stored on our own systems, running on cloud server infrastructure that we manage and control, hosted in the United Kingdom. Our infrastructure provider supplies the underlying server hardware only — it does not access, view, or process the data we store on it. This is infrastructure we operate ourselves, not a third party we share your data with.
We don’t currently use any third-party analytics, CRM, or marketing platforms to process the personal data collected through this Site. If that changes — for example, if we adopt a third-party tool to help us respond to enquiries — we’ll update this policy to name that provider, explain what they do, and confirm the safeguards in place, including how we protect any data that leaves the UK.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and demo request data for 3 years after your last interaction with us, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time (every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link)
- Ask us to move your data to another provider (data portability)
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@quantumsentinel.uk.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page if how we handle personal data changes, and update the “Last updated” date above. For material changes, we’ll make this reasonably prominent on the Site.
